RSS-Feed Press releases

What are RSS feeds?

RSS feeds are a service on Internet pages which - similar to a news ticker - contains headlines with a brief lead-in and a link to the original page. The provision of data in the RSS format is also called an RSS feed (RSS=Really Simple Syndication). If an RSS feed has been subscribed to, it automatically provides the subscriber with all of the new content relating to the selected topic. The subscriber to the RSS feed can follow the offered links directly and read the full contents there. This service is free and the subscription can be cancelled at any time.

How can I use RSS feeds?

You need either an up-to-date Internet browser with integrated RSS functionality (e.g. Firefox from version 2 and up or Internet Explorer from version 7 and up) or a freely available newsreader in order to use this service. Furthermore, most of the latest Smartphones offer such a newsreader as standard, so that you can always receive the latest information when you are out and about.
