DEUTZ promoted to the MDAX
To mark the Company’s promotion to MDAX with effect from March 23, 2026, the Chairman of DEUTZ’s Board of Management Dr. Sebastian C. Schulte and DEUTZ’s Supervisory Board Chairman Dr. Dietmar Voggenreiter have opened today's trading session on the Deutsche Börse Frankfurt by ringing the opening bell. The sounding of the traditional opening bell at 9 a.m. signaled the official start of trading.
Dr. Sebastian C. Schulte said: “DEUTZ is back in the MDAX. For us, this is a proof point that the capital market believes in our strategy of broadening DEUTZ’s positioning. And at the same time, it is a token of appreciation for all employees who make the Company’s transformation possible every day. And of course, it is motivation for all of us to pursue this path consistently.”
Dr Dietmar Voggenreiter added: “For some, the MDAX may be just a technical index. For me, however, DEUTZ’s promotion means far more. It is a signal that the Company is on the right track and that we as German industry are capable of more than we generally give ourselves credit for these days. And it is evidence of how important the stock exchange and capital markets are for the transformation of companies.”
After celebrating its 160th company anniversary in 2024 and its 125th stock market anniversary in 2025, the Cologne-based system provider for innovative and sustainable mobility and energy solutions has reached another milestone in its history with its promotion to MDAX. DEUTZ AG has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 1900. The share capital amounts to around 390.8 million euros, divided into 152,638,105 shares.
