Whether drone defense, electric and hybrid platforms, modern weapon systems, electronic warfare or artificial intelligence – with increasing digitalisation, automation and electrification, energy requirements in the field are also growing. With powerful and mobile power generators (known as GenSets) and modular battery storage systems, DEUTZ ensures a self-sufficient and uninterrupted power supply.
The GenSets combine highly efficient combustion engines with powerful generators – designed for maximum availability and continuous operation under extreme conditions. This ensures operational readiness even in remote areas, for example for field camps and field hospitals, command posts, mobile command centres or air defense systems. DEUTZ engines already power the power supply system of the Patriot air defense system, for example. The GenSets also play an important role in disaster and civil protection.
Partnership with ARX Robotics
The strategic partnership with ARX Robotics combines DEUTZ drive technology with the AI-based Mithra OS software platform for unmanned vehicles. The aim is to use battery-electric, hybrid and small combustion engines in unmanned vehicles – supplemented by mobile power generators, storage solutions and replacement batteries.
In addition, ARX Robotics gains access to DEUTZ's global production and service network. This enables fast order processing regardless of order volume, with the comprehensive international service network representing a further competitive advantage.
