The injectors - consisting of the injector and the injection valve spray high-precision dosages of fuel into the combustion chamber. In modern common rail engines, multiple injections take place within micro-seconds, with up to five injection cycles per combustion. To ensure this extremely accurate dosing, each injector is precisely matched to its cylinder and needs to be calibrated in the engine’s control unit - a task your DEUTZ service partner is happy to perform. High-precision nozzles manufactured by hydro-erosive grinding and high quality seals allow for increased service life, while injectors are available separately in case that replacement is required.
