DEUTZ and TYTAN Technologies agree on a strategic partnership to develop modern energy and drive solutions for drone defense
DEUTZ’s participation in the current financing round emphasizes the long-term cooperation
Cologne, February 24, 2026 – DEUTZ, a system supplier of innovative and sustainable mobility and energy solutions, has agreed a strategic cooperation with TYTAN Technologies for the development and industrialization of innovative energy and drive technologies for drone defense systems, as announced by both companies today.

TYTAN Technologies contributes outstanding expertise in AI-supported drone defense. As an industrial partner, we support the development, industrialization, and integration of complex drive and energy systems – always with the aim of bringing new technologies into series production quickly,” says Dr. Sebastian Schulte, CEO of DEUTZ AG. “The acquisition of drive specialist SOBEK and the strategic partnership and stake in ARX Robotics have already made this clear.”
As part of the partnership, the companies intend to collaborate on providing suitable drive solutions for interceptor drones, on the development and supply of modular, decentralized energy systems and battery systems for launcher applications, as well as on the assembly and final acceptance of technical subsystems.
In addition, DEUTZ has also taken a financial stake in TYTAN Technologies, thereby underlining the long-term importance of the collaboration. Through this investment, DEUTZ further strengthens its position in the growing market for unmanned defense systems.
