The DEUTZ high performance batteries can be used in a wide range of applications and vehicles, specifically designed for off-highway use, enabling the transition into a greener sustainable future.

SAFETY AND RELIABILITY FIRST AND FOREMOST

DEUTZ has developed a modular high-voltage battery system. It offers maximum flexibility in order to provide optimum performance for various off-highway applications and their requirements.

The DEUTZ high-voltage battery systems are scalable in terms of dimensions and can implement a variety of voltage ranges and capacities to ensure optimum adaptation to the respective application.

Safety and reliability are top priorities at DEUTZ. Therefore, the advanced battery technology features extensive safety measures in accordance with standards such as ECE R100, ISO 26262 and UN 38.3. These include a temperature and voltage monitoring system, an insulation monitor and various protective measures to ensure safe operation even in off-highway applications.

Note: The batteries can be supplied as part of the DEUTZ E400 drive system and are also available individually for OEM drive systems. They can be installed without E-DEUTZ drive systems.

Battery Management System and Integration

At DEUTZ NewTech, we combine extensive expertise in battery management systems with the development of complete batteries, making us a key driver of innnovation within the DEUTZ AG.

The Battery Management System (BMS) serves as the central control unit of the battery. It manages signal processing, measurement, communication and control interfaces, ensuring precise control of charging and discharging processes as well as battery aging. This maximizes efficiency, service life and safety.

The S-Box acts as an intelligent interface between the battery and the overall system. It manages communication with the charging infrastructure, integrates essential safety functions and enables the scalable design of our battery systems.

By combining expertise in battery electronics and system integration, we set new standards in battery technology and provide our customers with innovative, tailor made solutions.
