DEUTZ Energy business unit is exhibiting at ‘Electric & Power Indonesia’ for the first time
Focus on scalable system solutions ranging from 10 kW to 10 MW to ensure a reliable emergency and continuous power supply
DEUTZ Energy to expand business in the ASEAN region and strengthen regional customer and partner relationships
Cologne, August 20, 2026 – From 2 to 6 September 2026, DEUTZ will exhibit for the first time at ‘Electric & Power Indonesia’ in Jakarta, the largest trade show for electrical and energy engineering in Southeast Asia. Represented by its business unit DEUTZ Energy – and as part of the German Pavilion initiated by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy – the company continues to position itself as a systems provider for reliable emergency power supply and generator solutions. At the same time, with its trade show appearance in one of the world’s most dynamic energy markets, DEUTZ accentuates the strategic importance of its Energy division as an international growth driver for the Group.
“With our presence at ‘Electric & Power Indonesia’, we are clearly demonstrating that the Energy business plays a central role in our global growth strategy,” explains David Evans, CEO of DEUTZ Energy. “Our goal is to further establish ourselves in Indonesia and the ASEAN region as the preferred partner for emergency power and generator solutions.”
The geographical fragmentation of the Indonesian archipelago, insufficiently developed grids outside metropolitan areas, and frequent grid instabilities are prime examples of the challenges involved in ensuring a reliable power supply throughout the ASEAN region. At the same time, the demand for a stable energy supply is rising steadily due to strong economic growth. With its trade show debut in Jakarta, DEUTZ is responding to this trend: The company aims to expand its brand presence in Southeast Asia, strengthen direct engagement with regional customers and partners, and initiate new collaborations in the field of stationary power generation.
The focus of DEUTZ’s trade show presentation is a high-performance portfolio for emergency and continuous power applications designed to ensure an uninterrupted, off-grid power supply. These system solutions are used as backup or emergency power supplies for critical infrastructure or data centers, as the primary power source in remote areas, or wherever temporary power is needed (e.g., construction sites). They are scalable to meet specific needs in the power range from 10 kW to 10 MW and are designed for high reliability, efficiency, and a long service life.
Customers benefit not only from DEUTZ’s proven engine technology and hardware, which have been developed for demanding operating conditions and optimized total cost of ownership. Through the global DEUTZ network and local partners, they also have quick access to original parts and qualified on-site service.
