DEUTZ AG's training centre has received a special award. The Cologne Chamber of Industry
and Commerce (Cologne IHK) has awarded DEUTZ's training department a certificate
for its outstanding achievements as one of the best of its kind. Cologne IHK also paid tribute
to the excellent exam results achieved by DEUTZ trainees, which are regularly above
the IHK average.
"We are delighted that Cologne IHK has given our training centre this special award in
recognition and praise of our work. At present, we have 163 trainees in Germany and we
attach particular importance to providing them with a solid skills base. After all, they are the
next generation of staff for our company", said DEUTZ Board of Management member Dr
Margarete Haase.
In September 2011, 46 new apprentices, including five women, embarked on their training
at DEUTZ AG. The company offers apprenticeships in six different technical and engineering
occupations.
