From February 7 to 9, 2012, DEUTZ AG will be introducing a selection of its extensive
engine portfolio in the German Pavilion at the Middle East Electricity (MEED) in Dubai. The
MEED is one of the region’s largest expos for energy, energy efficiency, and electrical
engineering.
On the lower end of the performance scale, DEUTZ offers its robust Gen Engine 2011. The
time-tested four-cylinder engine is available in a 50 Hz and 60 Hz version. Due to its
compact dimensions, low weight, and the fact that all service access points are located on
one side, it is an ideal engine for the gen set segment. Long intervals between oil changes
(1,000 hours for standard engines and 500 hours for the turbo version) translate to savings
in operating costs. Oil cooling and lubrication prevent corrosion and cavitation.
The DEUTZ TCD 2013 L6 4V is at the higher end of the performance range. This watercooled
six-cylinder in-line engine achieves a performance of 234 kW with a torque of 1310
Nm. Its robust design makes it suitable for worldwide use, including for fuels with high sulfur
content. The powerful DEUTZ Common Rail injection system (DCR®) and electronic motor
regulation (EMR3) with intelligent drive management ensure optimum engine performance
with low fuel consumption. The TCD 2013 fulfills the requirements of EU Stage IIIA/US EPA
Tier 3 emissions standards.
In the upper performance category up to 390 kW, DEUTZ offers the newly developed TCD
12.0 V6 (EU Stage III B/US EPA Tier 4 interim). The water-cooled V-configuration engine is
turbocharged and charge-air-cooled. It is exceptionally economical thanks to its excellent
fuel economy, simple and cost-effective installation, and long service intervals. The
engine’s compact design and front and rear power transmission with as many as three the
power take-offs (with a total torque of up to 520 Nm) reduce installation costs and make it
suitable for a wider range of applications. The TCD 2015 is available as a version without
exhaust after-treatment for less tightly regulated markets.
Since 2005, DEUTZ AG is represented with a sales office in the Middle East. Based in
Jebel Ali, DEUTZ Gulf serves the network of dealers throughout the region.
