As part of the comprehensive package of measures it is taking to streamline its organisational structures, DEUTZ AG has merged its marketing & public relations, corporate development, quality
management and product planning units to create a new corporate management function with effect from 1 July this year.
The new corporate management unit is headed by Georg Diderich, 44, whose role also includes acting as the company's official spokesperson. An economics graduate, Diderich has held various managerial positions at DEUTZ over the past 18 years, most recently being responsible for engines with displacement of up to four litres. In his new function he will continue to report directly to
Dr Helmut Leube, chairman of the Board of Management.
Gerhard Zaiß, the previous head of corporate communications, left the company at the end of June.
