DEUTZ Receives DLG Award Agritechnica Silver Medal for Rape Seed Oil Engine The DLG Innovations Commission at Agritechnica 2007 has awarded DEUTZ AG of Cologne a silver medal from a total of 330 competitors. The award was in recognition of an outstanding innovation in the field of drive technology: the development of the "DEUTZ Natural Fuel Engine". DEUTZ has further refined the tried and tested diesel engines of the 2012 and 2013 series to operate with biofuels. The engines with the designation DEUTZ Natural Fuel Engine have been approved for running on 100 per cent raw rape seed oil in accordance with DIN V 51605 and will be presented to the public for the first time at Agritechnica. With these new engines the company is once again demonstrating its leading position in this market. The medal will be presented to DEUTZ at Agritechnica on November 11, 2007 in Hanover.
